Creating new connections and new communities on a micro level, Wishful City explores an alternative way of city planning. Wishful City is a platform where people exchange their wishes to create a sense of community and awareness of the local area. The platform gives residents an insight in how other residents think about their neighbourhood by triggering them to respond to each other's wishes.
Transforming eternal complaints into the positive energy of dreams and wishes, we provide a service that creates a space (visual map) where people post and read their wishes, which can also become a database and a tool for local governments.
Wishful City changes people's negative energy into positive by making them aware of others and the surroundings. The complaints would be changed to wishes and their ideas would come true. Its aim is also to involve temporary residents to collaborate in the change and because of that they are not being temporary anymore, but become attached to the community and take better care of it. The local governments will take people's wishes as a source of inspiration to change the city for the better sake of all.
