There have been lots of superheroes every year from Superman to Neo; Superman from another planet, Batman from a dark city, Spiderman who suddenly transformed into a superhero from an ordinary person, and Neo who tried to save the real world from the virtual reality. Cities created superheroes, and superheroes have reflected city’s dreams and fears. How will the city today shape the superheroes of tomorrow?
Against all the superheroes, the only special power Super W(ish) had was he could see both ways while he walked. Therefore, he could see where people were heading for while he walked. What he usually did was to look at the people through his another eye on his back and documenting their wishes from a certain distance. And, he started to response to the strangers’ wishes.
The goal of Super W project is exaggerating people’s small wishes, giving strangers external hidden identities and voices, watching what happens when another situation is added in their everyday lives. This project is site specific. All the documents which are collected through Super W will work as a wish archive.

Wish for better years
from the old lady who lives in Fulham
The old lady was waiting for a bus reading the Evening Standard. Her carrier was filled with M&S food. The Sun was strong and the street was quiet. She had the same glasses as my grandmothers’. Super W went to talk to her, and the bus came. She let the first bus leave. She wishes for better years. She said she always had had the same wish “wish for better years”.

I’ve got no wish
from a newspaper salesman in South Kensington Station
Super W met him in South Kensington Station. He was selling newspapers. Super W gave the letter asking what does he wish for. The first time, he was not interested in it and he really did not want to talk to him. The second time he gave him the invitation letter for the exhibition with questions. He said he did not have time to go there. Super W went to talk to him again. This was the third try. He said he came there everyday from Kent. He said it took almost two and half hours and he was tired. He said he had go no wishes. He did not say much. Every morning Super W passed South Kensington Station and he could buy papers from the newspaper man. He gave Super W a couple of free books. After tree months, they met again. The newspaper man broke his leg and could not come out. But he said he was okay. This is the mug for him. There are people’s wishes inside the mug. The newspaper salesman can drink the wishes everyday.
